The historic centre of the three-river city of Passau is one of the most important cultural centres in Bavaria and southern Germany.

Passau is a city that thrives on its cultural spirit and is world famous for it. Classical craftsmanship and modern avant-garde meet here at eye level in a tireless commitment to culture.

The medieval Grosse Messergasse in the heart of the old town connects the impressive Residenzplatz with the imposing St Stephen's Cathedral on Domplatz. At this meeting point of history, culture, art and gastronomy, [ RUIZ ] is at home under the baroque vaults.
